i like this design built in Davao Citypost-1206-0-65884500-1329873198_thumb.jp
That looks much roomier than any that I've ridden in. I bet that would be much easier getting in and out of.

Wish I had take photos of them when I was there a couple years ago
I do not have pictures of the Boracay design. It is something of a "T" format. The top of the T is a short bench seat facing forward, the back or pillar of the T are two short bench seats facing each other. Both section have open doors that allow even fat old kanos to enter and exit fairly easily.

And these ...... I opt for the first one but it looks like a custom job ..... more like a trike type in the USpost-11-0-67246100-1329885208_thumb.jpgpost-11-0-10302400-1329885237_thumb.jpgpost-11-0-92421400-1329885270_thumb.jpg

Super Duper Sleuthing there Mike S! Those are the trikes I remember from Boracay! I would design the front leg area to be a bit larger, but it works so well, and the back twin seats are very easy to get into and out of, even for us too tall, too fat, kano types. I love that one modernistic trike in your second post, the next two look pretty much like Boracay design types to me. The one thing the Boracay style really requires is a stronger bike, engine wise.

Here are some pictures of the Tuk Tuk from Thailand ..... this is what I want ... I consider these to be a true trike .... with the wheels in the back ... although the trikes here have three wheels they are built more like the sidecar models ...... enjoy .... some day I'll show the picks of the Harley trike I almost finished ..... :dance:post-11-0-73960000-1330079683_thumb.jpgpost-11-0-23527200-1330079726_thumb.jpgpost-11-0-90624700-1330079766_thumb.gifpost-11-0-33277900-1330079802_thumb.jpgpost-11-0-22056500-1330079823_thumb.jpgSpecks for the Tuk Tukpost-11-0-17677700-1330079864_thumb.pngpost-11-0-38787300-1330079990.gifHere is the Pilipino version of over-load in Thialandpost-11-0-71726900-1330080058_thumb.jpgAnd the rich version and the one I like .... Thank you Cebu Rocks.Update, our family has a new Suzuki van now. I call it the clown car. During our next visit we plan to invite a few forum members over and I'll get a picture of us "in" the van. Should be fun. I just hope Dave or I don't get injured in the process.
