OK some one asked for info on the best pizza place in Bacolod (IMHO) so here is some .... sorry I have no pictures as after the first time we went we had them just deliver it to us .... next time we order I'll take a picture of the pizza and post it ....

If you order either the XL or the XXL (this sucker is huge) you can get 2 different pizza choices with the XL or 4 different flavor choices of pizza with the XXL ..... the first time we went we ordered the XXL and ate it for lunch .... supper and 2 slices for breakfast the next morning .... now we just get the XL ..... I like the idea of having 2 different flavors ...

Now the crust is super thin (but I like it that way) and not sure if they will make it thicker for you but I eat pizza for the toppings not the dough ..... that just kinda keeps it together until I can shovel it in my mouth ..... :hystery: :hystery:

Finally we went to the branch and ordered the pizza. Firstly, better to have it delivered as it's quite a long drive from the city. The map they show is pretty much useless except the comments beside city heights.

Nice little shop, great friendly guys making the pizza. As Mike B said has the wonderful thin crust which I love. Pizza was good just for my taste was lacking in spices.

Price was fair mad we shall return again when more time and enjoy another with a few beers.

Mike and RBM, (or anyone else), how does the Rio Bella pizza compare to Green'os pizza?

Jpbago firstly, would like to emphasize we all have different tastes, therefore my personal preference could well be quite different from yourself or Mike B.

I once tried Greenwich many years ago in Ormoc and could not eat it. Far to sweet. I kinda like the Rio Bella but as said needs spicing up.

For me and GF we have found Calda most suited to our tastes.

A Rio Bella crust and Calda topping would suit me just fine.

Not Greewich but Greeno'z. I agree that Greenwich pizza is no good but Greeno'z looks very much the same as Rio Bella, in fact, the picture that Mike put up says that Rio Bella is from the original owner of Greeno'z so maybe he sold the 6 branches of Greeno'z and then started up Rio Bella.

https://www.google.ca/search?q=greenos+pizza+bacolod&rlz=1C1SAVU_enCA532CA536&espv=2&biw=1093&bih=514&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=SssQVNHMBsrhuQStiYLABA&ved=0CDYQsAQ#imgdii=_

The main one on 6th street is quite large, outdoor style bamboo/nipa with small bridges over water and a live band on Friday nites.

We went to the Rio Bella Main resto and pension house yesterday and met the owner's wife. She sat with us while we waited for 2 pizzas. Her husband started up Green O's Pizzaria a few years ago and soon had 5 branches. Then they went to Switzerland for awhile leaving her sister in charge. Bad things happened as in other posts regarding Filipino family businesses so they sold out and started up Rio Bella.

Our #12 and #14 were excellent pizzas with no leftovers and you know that I like cold pizza in the morning. Only complaint was that the crust was not cooked enough for our likes. It is the same at the other Green O;s  and the Mc Boy's in Bago. Seems they want to save gas. The other items on the menu looked good too.

They have 10 rooms to rent upstairs at around 800p and a bar on the side. Quite a nice place.

jpbago would you please explain exactly where on 6 street it is.

Being not so familiar in Bacold if you start from Lacson would help.

Enjoyed also the pizza, our crust at the other  branch was perfect, just would of liked it a little more spiced up but over all excellent.
