In both places you have to be extremely careful where you buy or rent to get that fast Internet (not available in all areas). Also, its costly by local standards. Expect to pay about US$100 a month or more for fast Internet although you can spend half of that for moderate speeds and much more than that for the blazing speeds of call center fiber optics. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sander Martin Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Go for PLTD if you want fast speeds. Our Globe sucks donkeys balls, but we stayed in an apartment thru Airbnb that had PLTD internet in Cebu. The speed was very constant and fast (i know since it filled my two month torrenting needs ?). Like Dave said: make sure PLTD provides internet into the building before you rent it!
