Just doing a poll on cell phone use. If you answer let us know what area you mainly use your cell phone and what company such as smart or globe, sun.

Can you add a new category for:  Haven't got a clue, I just send and receive texts.  That would fit many of the expats I know (yes it included me :bonk: )

Globe postpaid in Bacong, Dumaguete, Valencia... Signal varies between 4G and 3G (h+)

Same as me, no idea how many G's I get, have a cheap Nokia use about 50 pesos a month load with Smart, changing to Sun as you get free text/talk with other sun users I am told ( by STMBO):whistling:

I used to buy a new sim on each visit, usually Globe or Smart. However I find it annoying to loose most of the load because expiry date seems to be only about three months. Now I just use roaming on my China Mobile number. No idea what it costs per text but not very much more than domestic messages in China.

both smart and globe prepaid...  most here use smart but globe has better signal i find...  mostly hspa+ but some 3g...  and there is a new 700 lte tower just up...
