In the Philippines, a typical meal includes a small portion of meat and a large portion of rice. But we luvs 'em anyway. It is actually nice to eat at a Philippine restaurant (once in a while) that does not know about making profit instead of a foreigner run restaurant that does. The difference, for me, is about 300 pesos as opposed to 500 pesos for basically the same cheap meal for 2. Don't encourage local restaurateurs to read the book. Hey Steve Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 I know whenever I would stop into Jolly Bee I'd have to ask for about 15 of them little thin napkin squares in case I had to wipe my mouth a couple times. Where's the savings in paper products effecting the bottom line? It's got to be minimal. I can understand condiments end up in hand bags, but napkins?
