They have a free shuttle every hour to and from all airport terminals. Last time I booked them cost was $61.33 USD through Agoda. Thats my 1st choice. And 3 blocks walk to the casino and good food.

Not in Pasay but still only about a 15 minute ride from the airport. This hotel has new owners and has been renovated into a beautiful, modern, clean, yet affordable hotel. Good food too. Also, when staying at the hotel, airport pickup and drop off is free of charge. Wow that is a big improvement from what is used to be. I would not stay there or indeed in the swagman at Angeles, both shitholes..

There are a few cheaper but big waits at airport - not for me.
mogo51 Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 We stayed in a hotel in Pasay near the Casino, I can't remember the name but it was crap, so I would not recommend it anyway.
Clermont Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 We always stayed at the (tune hotel ) Aseana now Red Planet, about 250 Peso ride from the airport, grab a metro taxi and make sure he puts his meter on, if he wont tell the guard controlling the taxi rank and they will move him on. They have cracked down rouge drivers at the airport and when you get there if he wants more, tell the bell boy on duty and he will tell the driver to move on. Very conscious of their guests being ripped off and a guard box 50 meters down the street, very safe and eateries next door, reasonable price. No waiting for taxi's, very clean. Happyhorn52 Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 I stayed in the Pearl Manila Hotel in Ermita back in 2015. It's a nice hotel but a little dated if I remember correctly. It's usually around 2,000p a night with a short taxi ride to the Airport.
BrettGC Posted October 16, 2017 Author Posted October 16, 2017 All sorted now thanks guys. I'm going to be spending a couple of days in Manila now and staying at Guijo Suites in Makati. A friend recommended it to me. I'll let you all know what it's like.

Am enjoying exchanging PM's there and hope you have a good time in Angeles and Subic.. I still like the Swag in Manila. Rooms are way different than they use to be and the rest of the place looks like a 5 star hotel. Angeles Swag? I agree it's junk. Different owner and it really shows. allancomeau Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 If it just overnight then go for one of the 'love' hotels.....last I saw had a 12 hour special which was 500 per person There are several around Baclaran, and the Taft/EDSA area The chain motels are clean, comfortable, safe and have decent room service.
