Reboot Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 (edited) Climb to the top of a high rock...cross a river on slippery rocks...snorkel and dive to the bottom of a reef...all while wearing a flimsy little pair of flip flops. Is there anything they can't do in the things? Edited October 27, 2016 by Reboot
Hey Steve Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 If you ask construction workers walking on scaffolding, with nails all over, mixing cement, etc-well--they're a lot more comfortable than steel toe'd shoes that's for sure (I guess it's about their priorities in what they buy from day to day).

Popular Post Tukaram (Tim) Posted October 27, 2016 Popular Post Posted October 27, 2016 I started walking a lot more, 2 months ago... I walk 3-6 Km a day. Been walking in my slippers. I decided that shoes would probably be better for my feet so I dusted of my Nikes (from the US, not local knock offs). Tried 2 walks and my feet were killing me! How do you people wear shoes? Maybe I have been here too long ha ha

Steve--I'd bet they'd be really hot to wear, like the security guard shoes you see many workers wear. I guess it has to do with costs and affordability too. As long as you can get an anti-tetanus shot when you need it.-
