Reading what you lot pay a plumber in the states it would have paid me to move there 20 years when I was offered a job.Still best not to dwell on the past as I did retire at 50 years old.

Kev,  Is any brand selling a sugar free loaf yet (as you would buy in the UK), last time I was there I was trying to eat the Gardenia Wholemeal, supposedly less sugar, but still made me gag!  I ended up buying a sugar free baguette most days for downstairs in Lee Plaza.

I like the Gardenia High Fiber at 72p but there has been no stock for a week now so I been getting Mulungay buns at 2p each. Never seen the neu bake.

Prices dependant on where you are of course, some similar some cheaper for me down here in the badlands.

notably, eggs at 6p, good Indian rice at 43p, tomatoes 5p for 5...in the market, President butter 64p...other brands double that but what the hell it's good French butter I used in the uk!

buy my Pilsen by the grande, 66p if buying a case, 75-80 at the sari sari!

Still beats Tesco and I use my lifetime Waitrose bag to help the environment. :whistling:
