(Or go the 13a married resident visa route) ...and to add a little more clarity (I checked in December as I was wondering this part myself) the one year of free Balikbayan is exactly like the initial tourist waiver. Meaning if you convert to a tourist Visa you have 2 years remaining to extend (in country total of 3 years), you do Not get 1 year Balikbayan the convert to 3 year tourist (total of 4 years). 6 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
