Thinking about something Dave"H" said cars on Driveways not moving Much but Washed daily :89: I wonder if I am just lazy?

Having had many cars over the years and being a Slave to a lot of them I now at my Tender age, think of them as a car, a means of Transport, I would never let it get into the state that we can see around with writing on them you know "Clean me" but  I am washing this one Once a Week as Norm and Hosing it down if we/I have been in muddy Parts  ( It happens here yes?)

So my Friends How often do you wash your vehicle ( being whatever it is) ?

Lets be Honest though as I had already Said, I know I am lazy

I agree.  When I lived with my ex ex (2 exs ago) she would be the one to wash the pick up truck.  I mean  . .  its a TRUCK so it gets dirty but she liked it clean so washed it once or twice a week.  Now the motorcycle is different.  I take it to the bike wash for 50 pesos whenever it looks a bit dirty and thats only once a month or so.

My Jeep Wrangler was pressure washed only once or twice, after typhoon and flooding season.  During the less rainy season, I throw a couple buckets of water about twice a month but will not wipe dry or waxed.

I have other priorities like beer and playing with the wife....he, haw.

I was washing the bike about once weekly before we moved to Valencia. Don't have access to an outside faucet so it has been a while until a couple days ago when I finally caught the guys open over here. So now, p50 every week or two probably.

I used to wash my cars a lot before I moved to PH.  I loved the coin operated spray and wash for a quick wash.  I wish they had those here but they are probably not cost effective here, with lots of cheap labor.

I had a black Corvette in Kentucky that I was meticulous with.  Now I have a black SUV and it looks terrible most of the time, covered with dirt, etc.  And there is a bird that likes to hang out in our carport and poop on the passenger mirror / door.  I'm way overdue to have it detailed and put a good shine on it, but it is difficult to give it up for a day, with school runs, etc.

Here is the hood of my Trailblazer right now after two weeks of not washing.  :bonk:We are doing a lot of landscaping so I think it has been getting extra dirty!

This is the hood of my Corvette on a prime day!  Those were the good old days!

Jake!!! You know we can't "unsee" that, don't you!?

On the other hand ? , respectfully we do have a few lady members who may not mind if your buddies were to wash their car.
