My taxi driver sleeping

Yesterday I was in a taxi from Mactan to home. The driver would close his eyes, rest against the door and sleep at every traffic light on stop. When we were moving he was struggling to stay awake. Yawning and partly slumped on the steering wheel or l sort of laid back in the seat. I almost told him to stop but continued on this dangerous journey. The problem with this is that it's so easy to hit a pedestrian crossing the road when you are that sleepy. Hope I dont encounter another like that.

Some drivers rent the car for the day and drive it for 24 hours. We have a good driver who lives nearby so we get a good deal if we catch him on the way to or from work. He worked in Saudi for a few years then bought his own car so he takes good care of it. His car is probably cleaner than that Hands On Beach Resort that OMW was talking about.
