Yes, if you read that artical which is basically from the family code the spouse is third in line for inheritance. You have just got to persuade the kids not to throw you out.

To JRLee, what is the process you were required to follow to become Chartered Trust and Estate Planner in Philippines? I ask because I was a CFP in Canada and I'm curious what legal qualifications would be needed. Thanks in advance. - Dave
