I'm willing to bet that laws, rules and regulations will be different. Elected and appointed officials have to justify their existence after all.

In our area of Luzon the changes in the last 20 years have been massive. 20 years ago it was like living in the 1950s We are now getting into the 60s. Local infrastructure has improved greatly, the daily brownouts are now rare, the roads are much better and malls built. It's a pity that local attitudes haven't kept up.

Same same here in Dumaguete Now in fact, I believe we may make it into 1951 this new year  :smile:

I think that is a lot of the appeal of Dumaguete. Most of the family live up the road near Tanjay so we often stay in Dumaguete when we visit. I think the Bethal is still my favourite for position on the Boulevard and city.
