Most of us have moved a time or twenty. When you get tired of the new place you move again. We don't have to put down deep roots, although its starting to sound like you have roots where you are and you don't want to pull them up. By the way, in the twenty or so times I have moved I never went back to the same place twice. Been there, done that, there was a reason I felt like moving away and its probably still valid. PLUS there is a whole world to see. If you get to a place and hate it then try another. Life is simple. Just enjoy it. Burn those bridges. Its much more fun building new bridges than commuting on the old ones every day. I afraid so I have never left Derbyshire in all my life of 58 years except for holidays, I don't know anything other then living in England, but I am not tired here and my roots are like conifers shallow.so they can be moved very easily.

One thing I have learnt from the forum posts, the bigger the family the more demanding it can be. Set the rules before you set sail from the shore. Emma knows what I am wanting once there, and it shall be fine , but nothing wrong in asking Everything, sometimes folk are afraid to ask as it's like being made a fool of, so that's why I am asking on all there's behalfs

Popular Post PaulB Posted May 30, 2017 Popular Post Posted May 30, 2017 Steve Buy yourself a static caravan in UK. If you let the site rent it out it pays for itself so when you want you can book yourself a few weeks each year and go back to Blighty. Use some of your monthly pension to be a travel fund and in UK if you are going to stay a couple of months get a part time job in B&Q or Tesco to cover some daily costs. No need to feel you are on the moon!
Popular Post Tukaram (Tim) Posted May 30, 2017 Popular Post Posted May 30, 2017 The only thing I would need to do to move back to the US is get a job. (I would rather not). Getting a car and an apartment are easy - if you have a job. No real bridges were burned in my move. I had no problems with Texas (other than a few of the idiots...). I would have no qualms going back...I just don't want to work.

Oh boy, it's time to have that dreaded talk with your wife - ASAP, before your roots get any deeper. Does she even have a clue what you are feeling? Can't believe I asked you that - I feel like Dr. Phil...
