It is exactly that, as well as being a very fast DNS provider. Before I found this service, I used a VPN to give me a virtual point of presence in the UK so that I could watch the BBC but that was a bit fraught by the almost constant buffering. My viewing became far more pleasurable once I tried the new DNS service as there was much less buffering - and usually none late in the evening.

I'm also using Smart DNS Proxy, Markham, but may I ask if you have you experienced any problems with viewing on BBC iPlayer over the last few days? I have ie not allowed to view. It was seemingly fixed by them last Friday, but recurred today.

How much is the SMART DNS proxy?  I don't see any pricing after the 14 day free trial.

A few days before the trial end they offered it by email for $18, half price, and I accepted. That was a month ago. Wondering about it now.

$18 a month?  That's a bit rich.

Umm strangely enough, no. Now that I have signed up clicking on 'Pricing' takes me to my account page. The 'Pricing' link is in the fine print at the bottom of the page of their website.
