 That is not that far from Us, not sure how far maybe 140 km but things are getting Closer and closer

It is closer to me at 95 km and 129 km to you at Duma, merely hours. Now they have more guns and m/cs from the PNP.

Funny, isn't it?

Living in Toril (Davao) is still more dangerous than anywhere else...   And the army isn't going to help you... Especially at any stop light or downtown...  Dodging the millions of yellow tricycles..!  Who needs bullets?

I seriously gotta walk over and get a picture to put in here...

The possibilities are endless, I think its true to say that nowhere is guaranteed to be safe any more.

However in a fictional setting, the community would set up a defence patrol and have a battle plan or a fast car. :Caught:

Don't panic remember you are British, and take the dog with you to the watering hole :tiphat:

Have a cubby or crawlspace with a boogie bag and exfiltrate at night.

Smiling not so much This morning as I received this from the UK embassy;

(Quote)

**“This threat extends throughout the Philippines, both on land and at sea, but is particularly acute in the southern Philippines (Mindanao, Palawan and Central Visayas, including Siquijor and Dumaguete).**

Big changes ahead I think. It was only a matter of time as Duterte isn't going to stop until Marawi is cleansed. Unfortunately like cockroaches the terrorists will run away before infecting another area.

I think the Cebu areas will be relatively safe for a couple of years as the terrorists don't have a foot hold there. Palawan is a different story as there's been plenty of activity already in the South of the island and reports of training camps and kidnappings.
