Hi SonJack,

I've seen  shorter dahlias for sale in garden places here, so they must have some varieties growing here. I've never seen any pom pom dahlias like those.

Back in the States I used to grow some big flower dahlias called dinner plate dahlias.  If you come across any varieties, let us know..:smile:

Ohoh Jack that wouldn't do! The thing about this vine I've read is that every part of the plant is poisonous to some degree, so it probably wouldn't be good to grow near dogs/cats or children that might chew or eat flowers or plant parts.

I had a look in Valencia market this morning Queenie they did not have any Dahlias oh well I will keep looking and if I see any I will let you know.

Well 2 out of the 5 Lillies I bought have died and 2 more look on their way out not so cheap now haha.
