I wouldn't want to live with my own family, far less somebody else's!

Hear him, Hear him!

One of the hardest things I found to adapt to is the relatives just dropping in and staying. Only one time we went to visit some of her relatives in San Francisco and we stayed in one of the kids rooms. Never again. We visit relatives here in the Phil or elsewhere we stay in a hotel. I loose the battle we relatives from the states visit us here though.

Surely it cannot be that bad, i have been staying over and the extended family come over and they do speak there language and yes i did feel like piggy in the middle too, but after i have tried to listen, i do say " remember i am here", then they will explain what they was talking about after the fact, but if Emma was in the room she would explain it there and then.

I start to look from speaker to speaker, nodding and exclaiming as if I understand what they're saying. They usually laugh and then my wife tells me what she wants me to know.
