Stairways in the Philippines

The first place I ever stayed in Philippines had a 3 story apartment built by an American expat who had never built anything in his life but was a smart fellow so decided he was an instant expert at building apartments when he moved here to Philippines.  Some of the stuff he did was actually funny but crazy stupid and he would never get away with it in the real world, probably not even in Philippines of today.

Is this it?

My observation on this is that the ceilings are higher and therefor a greater distance to be spanned but they still only use 13 steps.

So the laws? 12/13 risers before a landing? Make it work within the given space and hope no one counts? Just curios for extensions and opportunities as appears many here avail.

Cheers Steve.

So many different types of stairs!... each with its own unique challenges!

But we Expats are a hearty bunch that can adapt to just about anything over here in the Philippines!

As we do Castaway but the mind still boggles from time to time.

Cheers, Steve.

Challenging, adventurist, Great view but no room for a bed.

Must be some sort of bed there as it is or was available for rent. The picture of the stairs I posted in another post are from this building.

The bed is the landing JFG, The top floor with the view and no stragglers stepping on your head is a higher rent. Location, location.

Cheers, Steve.

Obviously for photo shoots and the wine cellar beneath is a bonus, clever.

Cheers, Steve.
