  1. Lazada may be good. Can I open an account from outside the Philippines for Lazada PH without a PH phone number and pay with an international credit card?
  2. I appreciate your attempt at help @Huggybearman, but please note that my question was: "Is there any way to send load without (or with small surcharge) to a friend's Globe number?" There are many simple ways to send load with a 25-50% surcharge, but since I send load regularly to my friend I am looking for a quick and very cost effective method. :)
  3. I just tried worldremit but their service wants 6.27GBP for a 300 Peso load. Which comes out to be a 25% surcharge. Since I would assume they also make a commission on the load, I think this is just too much. I wish I could get that etopupservice going, but they now have declined 3 cards. Maybe because I am trying to charge them from Thailand, or maybe just because they are glitchy, I don't know.
  4. I made a mistake entering the link in my 2nd post, this is corrected now. Actually I do not live in the Philippines, and I do not have a Globe number. I want to put load on my friends Globe number from outside of the Philippines.
  5. Hm, this site does 500PHP for 10US$, so that is almost without surcharge, but the problem is that my charge was declined. I used my Transfer Wise card. http://www.etopuponline.com
  6. I found the answer myself at this link: https://www.globe.com.ph/prepaid/gosurf.html
  7. My friend says she will get 3 days of data with Globe for 50 Pesos, and 7 days for 100 Peso. Are there amounts that are cheaper per day, f. e. hypothetically 300 Pesos for 30 days? Is there a website link that can show me this information?
  8. They got back on the few Philippine Airlines flights that were running the last few days. One of them was picked up by her family. The other had to pay an outrageous amount to a cab driver to bring her to Cavite. So both are home safely. Thanks to everyone who made constructive comments. :)
  9. Hello, Is there any way to send load without (or with small surcharge) to a friend's Globe number? I am outside the Philippines and do not have a PH bank account. Thanks for your help! :)
  10. I did also think of that as an option. But the family is a bit panicky about the whole corona thing...
  11. Would this be a voluntary quarantine in their homes or will they be locked up somewhere?
  12. Thanks for your kind answers, but I think there has been a slight misunderstanding! They are already in Thailand visiting me and are worried how they would get back to their homes! They have confirmed flights on CebuPacific in 10 days from BKK to Manila.
  13. Hello, I have 2 pinay friends visiting me in Thailand. They are booked from Bkk-MNL on March 24th on CebuPacific. They don't live in Metro Manila, but in Cavite and in Angono Rizal. How would the lock down affect their trip? They are afraid that they would have to take a hotel in Manila until April 24th. Could anyone throw some light on the current situation? Can they use public transportation ATM? Or what would you suggest they do to get home? Thanks for your help!
  14. So corrected directions would be: DIRECTIONS from Airport: Take the Airport Express Line (green) towards Hong Kong Station to Tsing Yi Station, transfer to Tung Chung Line (Yellow) towards Hong Kong Station to Lai King Station, transfer (walk straight across the platform) to Tsuen Wan Line (Red) towards Central to Sham Shui Po Station.
