  1. Kodi can be as simple or complicated as you want to make it. The more you read up on it the more you learn and there is a lot too it. But most of us just want movies and tv shows and sports and thats the simple part.
  2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XeZr_SibuUY Kodi help
  3. Can you tell me if they delivered to your door or if you had to pick them up somewhere. I have a battery coming and its not clearly stated that it will be delivered to my door, just that "the seller has shipped your order" and "tracking information will be available in 5 to 10 days" with a link to Sweden Post. I will try tracking it then. Still, your first hand knowledge is great! I dont know what its like where you are but here in Cagayan De Oro the post office contacts you when the parcel arrives there and you go pick it up. Before the post office delivered parcels right to the door. If you are buying an expensive item tell the seller to mark parcel as a gift and low value. A lot of my items they charge me 100 pesos when I pick them up at the post office. Also you realize it takes 3 to 4 weeks to arrive

  5. Have you bought other things from them? I ask because the price on this Samsung S6 looks incredibly good (under 17K pesos): http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Unlocked-Samsung-Galaxy-S6-G920P-G920V-Octa-Core-3GB-RAM-32GB-ROM-LTE-16MP-5-1/32546812497.html?spm=2114.01020208.3.1.4x8z88&ws_ab_test=searchweb201556_6_79_78_77_80,searchweb201644_0,searchweb201560_1 But it sounds too good to be true so it would be nice to hear more of your experiences with AliExpress What I have noticed with their phones is there not the same specs as the originals. I have never bought one. I have bought tablets and they were good and their batteries are good

  7. Do a search on http://www.aliexpress.com/. They have free shipping to the Philippines and you can find a battery for pretty cheap, but takes a while to get there.

You start at the top and you work your way down. The problem is not the corrupt people but the system in place that allows for corruption. Where I worked my boss was accountable for my work and the people under me I was accountable for. We were also accountable for ourselves. I told the people under me that if they screwed up they were gone just like my boss told me. These corrupt people in government or any organization steal because they no they will get away with it. There is no one above them willing to make sure they are on the up and up because there are no consequences for the higher ups if their workers are stealing. You need a top dog that is willing to ensure that there will be consequences for all, and they will out way the rewards of stealing. There also needs to be a policing department checking up on everyone periodically, following the orders of the top dog. It also helps if the top dog is an honorable man. In my eyes charity and free go hand in hand. Everyone involved should be helping for free because they feel bad and care what happens to victims (of an unfortunate situation) that can not help themselves. Many years ago lots of people were donating to help starving kids in Africa. Then the news that the milk the charity bought was making the kids sick because they were not use to it or something like that. Then more news that the grain and foods that they bought they could not deliver it to out of the way places where many of the undernourished were. Then the news that rebels were hijacking the trucks of goods and demanding payment for them. A lot of these charities are not totally thought out and organized very well. A lot of people are starting to think why even bother to send my hard earned money if its going to waste or in some corrupt guys pocket. We spend sooo much money and time on so many stupid and non important things in this world while the really important things like charity relieve are a joke.
  10. would it be easy for your Filipina wife to meet you say in Thailand or would the Philippines immigration people give her a hard time
  11. And the last reward received was for having the most gullible members. :mocking:
  12. Been there. My first contribution was a size able one. Much needed. After that every one who could help financially did in the family. So I don,t regret it. Lets face it when it comes to emergencies we should help if we can. You would feel terrible if some one died and you could have but didn,t help and maybe saved a life. I have met a friend through the family and his son died in the hospital. The grieve that man felt loosing his son is terrible but than financially he was getting wipe out because of the hospital bills, So I helped him out. He was so grateful. Later he introduced me to a old friend of his who is a lawyer and he said to me he would help me out with any legal issues free of charge any time in the future. If I was in the hospital and did not have the money to pay for a life saving operation I would hope that some caring person either family or friend would help me out.
  13. At what age did you start to get your CPP? I will start mine this summer and I believe that there is a clawback in that I do not get my full CPP on top of my company pension. People with no company pension get the full CPP based on their income and years of contribution. Well I dont get it until im 65 ( not there yet ). But my company told me I will get it at 65 and in my info package I received from them it states in there I will get it. I worked for a big oil company and I,m sure they would not mislead me Yes, your company is correct in saying that you will get your CPP and the info package is correct as well but neither says how much it will be. Some companies in Canada use the bridging benefit for those that retire early. My Pension Bridge BenefitMany members choose to retire before reaching age 65. But early retirement may mean waiting until you are eligible to receive some government pensions. Bridge the gapSome companies offer early retirement provisions, including an unreduced pension at age 60 and a bridge benefit that's payable if you retire while aged 55 to 64. The bridge benefit is a monthly payment that supplements your basic lifetime pension until age 65 when full government pensions typically begin. The bridge is intended to increase your basic lifetime pension to a full 2% of your average annualized earnings for each year of contributory service. In other words, the full bridge equals 0.5% of your average annualized earnings up to the average Year's Maximum Pensionable Earnings (YMPE) at retirement for each year of contributory service. It is important to note that the bridge benefit, as well as your basic lifetime pension, will be reduced – as shown in the Early Retirement Table – unless you have at least 30 years of eligibility service or are age 60 or older at the time of retirement. The bridge benefit is payable until age 65 or your passing, whichever occurs first. They do say how much. $1367.00 / month but I don,t receive it until age 65

  15. It is well known that all the companies steal load. It happens to every one in my family all the time. Best to get one of the weekly or monthly unlimited packages. one week unlimited text with globe is 150. One time I purchased 100 load and that night it was down to 30 and I hadn,t even used my phone that day. When I complained to them they just gave me that stupid look and said sorry sir nothing we can do.
