  1. You may want to do some research before you decide. The Philippines has alot of areas that could become problems in the future. Might want to use this website to steer away from some of the problem areas. https://hazardhunter.georisk.gov.ph/
  2. Wikipedia has never been a reliable source. Universities and colleges have made that point perfectly clear, use that website as a reference on a term paper and receive a zero grade. Too bad some people believe what they read on the internet. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wikipedia_is_not_a_reliable_source
  3. You don't need a updated license, the main thing you need is the notarized bill of sale signed by you and the seller. Make sure you get a copy of his drivers license and have him sign it 3 times. This is one thing the HPG looks at closely if the signatures don't match they will not transfer the vehicle into your name. It can be a hassle if its not right thats why alot of filipinos don't complete the required paperwork. If you have a trusted lawyer have them check over the paperwork.
  4. Clark AB 1977-1980. F-4E/G Crew Chief. Later got on the F-4 Drone Program at AMARG and rebuilt them so they could be blown out of the sky.
  5. One of the main problems is those Filipinos that get a visa and end up overstaying their visa. So now everyone get put into that category which shouldn't happen but it does. Hopefully you will have better luck next time. https://usa.inquirer.net/4339/many-filipinos-overstayed-us-visas-2016
  6. From Facebook NORPPO PRESS RELEASE REGARDING THE DEATH OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT Around 6:50 in the morning of August 15, 2019, Joshua Philip Melanculico Partosa, 20 yrs old, single, senior high school student and a resident of Purok 5, Brgy. Bolocboloc, Sibulan, Negros Oriental. The Victim was walking beside the road with his younger sister Marie Grace Partosa and brother Julio Partosa going to Boloc-boloc National High School when four (4) motor riding suspects on board two motorcycles appeared coming from the national highway where the back rider of the first motorcycle shot Joshua twice. The victim ran to the west direction but was followed by the second motorcycle whose back rider shot the victim three (3) consecutive times causing him to fall on the ground. The back rider of the second motorcycle disembarked and stabbed the victim with a corrugated steel bar right on his neck. Upon arrival of the responding policemen and One Rescue Unit, the victim was pronounced dead by Dr. Kenneth Coo. A background investigation was conducted to establish the grounds that will lead to the identity of the suspects who according to the witnesses are wearing black t-shirts and black long sleeves and are medium in build. The victim (Joshua) was the suspect in a series of stabbing incidents at Dumaguete City where three (3) persons were stabbed in different places in the city last July 20, 2019 as recorded under Blotter Entry #450, #451 and #452. A complaint for “Frustrated Murder” was filed by Mrs. Iolani Villegas Carballo against the suspect Joshua Philip Melanculico Partosa at the City Prosecutor’s Office under NPS Docket Number VII-11-INV-19G-000374 on July 30, 2019. The manner he was killed suggests outrage and anger that is why the PNP is now looking on possible angles that will lead to the identity of the suspects for the early solution of the case. PCOL RIZALITO G GAPAS, Acting Provincial Director is giving orders to the Investigator On Case to leave no stone unturned and exert all efforts to solve the case so that justice will be served.
  7. It's true the new mayor is not joking when it comes to corruption. https://www.rappler.com/nation/235992-isko-moreno-presents-traffic-enforcer-viral-extortion-case
  8. Try bribing a police officer in Manila and see how far that gets you. The new mayor is cracking down on corrupt traffic enforcers and the police there. https://pinoytrend.net/2019/08/06/chinese-national-who-caught-for-driving-without-license-tries-to-bribe-police-officers-we-dont-need-your-money/
  9. The article is from 2018 and doesn't include any of 2019. They might have started out strong but it didn't last long. Seems the enforcers are now working the market area. North Highway is still a mess and getting worse everyday.
  10. If you are not a Filipino its best to keep your nose out of anything that concerns the Philippines!
  11. Well considering that he changes his mind like the wind blows, anything is possible.
  12. Well he has a Chinese problem but want to punish everyone that wants to visit the Philippines. I hope he makes the change and then people that want to visit the Philippines will choose to go somewhere else due to the hassle of getting a visa. Nothing like shooting yourself in the foot.
  13. Well he changed his mind again. Lotto back on, but STL is still suspended. https://www.pna.gov.ph/articles/1076529
  14. The PCSO has been around since 1934 and has helped a lot of poor filipinos with medical care and at the same time made a lot of corrupt individuals rich. It needs a major overhaul. Maybe they should look into the Chinese casinos also.
  15. Competition is always good. Maybe the current companies will figure that out before they end up out of business. As of now the consumer doesn't really have much to lose. The current providers don't seem to know what customer service is all about yet. Maybe something will change with a new competitor entering the market. Only time will tell.

  17. If the UN is so worried about the drug war here maybe they should do something about it's suppliers. Are they going after the drug cartels that have killed thousands of innocent people in Mexico? Thus making Mexico a war zone. The solution is to go after these people who are supplying these drugs. http://pdea.gov.ph/2-uncategorised/512-3-international-drug-rings-are-biggest-source-of-shabu-in-ph-pdea
  18. The solution is living up to the commitments that these Countries made when they joined NATO. Other Countries should not have to take up the slack just because someone doesn't want to pay their share. I really don't care what they do, but the American Taxpayers do have a voice in this situation.
  19. Nato hasn't been living up to the treaty they signed when becoming a part of Nato. Some pay more , some pay less. The US pays the most. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/6745786/nato-contributions-country-who-pay-most-least-2-percent-gdp-target-President/
  20. If a nuke hits any part of the US, NK will be a smoking hole within minutes and they know that.
  21. These problems date back to the 1990s when they got rid of the Philippine Constabulary. Under Marcos the PC got accused of civil rights abuses but one has to remember who was President at the time. Most people know that the PNP could do alot better but they are going to need alot of help and the organization will never be free of rogue officers. https://newsinfo.inquirer.net/859350/revive-the-philippine-constabulary
