Okay, help me out with this. I'm a 53-year-old Swedish / Finnish man on my way to Metro Manila for work. I have lived in Thailand for 14 years and know the process in Thailand. As for the Philippines, I need your help and will appreciate any advice. As I understand the proper visa for me is called 9(g). Is this applied for at immigration in the Philippines or at a consulate abroad? What paper work is needed for this visa? How long is the visa valid for and how do you apply for extension of stay? Is work permit applied for separate?
