Hello, I'm a 72-year-old amputee from Germany who has lived in the Philippines since 2018. Unfortunately my degree of amputation, stumpless disarticulation, makes it impossible for me to use a tricycle here in the Philippines as the seats are positioned so low that I cannot rise without substantial lifting assistance (unlike in Thailand where I could climb onto a tuk-tuk and easily climb down again).

What's vague about paying 200,000 Pesos for an eight-day hospital stay, including accomodation & meals, doctors' fees, examinations, scans & intravenous infusions? My intention merely was to inform prospective patients what they might be expected to pay for a standard. non-surgical, eight-day hospital stay.

Hi. I'm a 72-year-old German expat. I have lived in the Philippines with my Filipino wife since 2018. I have no health insurance, PhilHealth or other. Recently I had to be hospitalized with what turned out be pneumonia. The 8-day hospital stay including doctors' fees, examinations, scans etc. cost me 200,000 Pesos! Edited; Moved to new topic
