Please take a moment to review these rules detailed below. Once you have agreed to the rules, you are a member of this forum, which is a privilege not a right.
Please remember that we are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message and are not responsible for the contents of any message. Take note of agreement #2 below.
The messages express the views of the author of the message and not necessarily the views of this bulletin board. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by Email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so within a reasonable time frame If we determine that removal is necessary.
You agree:
1/ Through your use of this service, that you will not use this bulletin board to post any material which is knowingly false and or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, racist remarks or otherwise a violation of any law.
As a member of this forum you agree that you will not use any derogatory terms against any race or members in any post.

2/ As a member of Philippines Expat Forum you agree and understand that once you have posted a post or topic, the contents of the post including images, attachments or text will then be deemed to be the property of Philippines Expat Forum
Philippines Expat Forum therefor become the owners of of all posted material including gallery uploads or blogs.
Spamming
All spammers will be banned immediately, no one is to post advertisements on this forum unless permission is granted by an admin. Members who use PM or send email to other members for the purpose of spamming them will be removed without notice.
PM System
The PM system is not to be used to solicit business, sell or rent property. A member with a commercial interest in such must be a paid advertising member and then may use the PM system to communicate with a prospective buyer or tenant. Do not spam members with unsolicited messages.
Links
Adding links to your post is allowed if the link is for information regarding the Philippines and relates to the topic. The exception is links to dating sites, sex sites, blogs and other forums or what would otherwise be considered spam.
Personal blog links must also seek permission.
Anyone who abuses this privilege will be removed from the forum. If you are unsure of what is allowed then contact us before posting.
Note
If a member posts links for personal gain such as directing members to a site or Facebook page, Youtube channel that he or she owns to make a sale or to encourage someone to join that site then the discretion of the admin prevails as to whether it will be allowed so it's always best to seek permission first. This also includes non links but group names such as a Facebook group or page which is designed to encourage others to join.
Forums
When referring to other forums and bulletin boards in your post's the words (another forum) will be used in place of the name of any forums which are not Philippines Expat Forum.
Advertising
Members who wish to use our forum to advertise products or real estate must have the correct permissions, If you wish to promote a business owned by yourself or family then you will need to be a paid advertiser.

Signature Links
Members must ask for permission to place a signature link to your business, forum, blog or any other personal links. Contact an admin for permission. Failure to do so will result in being banned and considered a spammer. Facebook links to personal page or business page is not permitted.
Display Names
Members display names can not be website titles, names used to advertise anything at all whether it be advertising your own business or a business that is owned by someone else. Facebook pages or YouTube Channels. No offensive display names are allowed.
Members Profile Page/Links
Links to members websites, business, forums or blogs, Facebook or Youtube channels are not allowed in the member's profile page unless you have permission from the Forum Manager or an admin.
These are the same rules as signature links.
Flaming members and Personal attacks
If a member flames or personally attacks other members or aims is to disrupt the group, then they will at first be given a warning. If any one who continues to act in this manner, they will be placed on moderation. Once it is deemed that the member has altered their ways, then they will be taken off moderation but be warned, there will be no second chances. Racist rants are not permitted.
Topics
Topics on this forum are to be Philippine related; religious or political posts are not allowed unless they relate to the Philippines. Discussing sexul encounters is not permitted here either.
Off Topics
Topics not related to the Philippines can be discussed here except for religion and politics. These topics cause problems. Sex subjects are also not allowed here.
Posting
When posting information as "fact" a member must post a link to the source of the fact or state that it may not be fact but hearsay.
News articles or actual text from the source is to be posted and not just a link to the source.
Posting Images
Members posting images agree not to post any pictures containing nudity or content of a sexual nature. Pornography is not allowed, this includes child porn. Anyone who places child pornography on this forum will be reported to the law. No exceptions.
Language
Members are not allowed to use bad language on this forum; please show respect to all other members including women. Posts must be written in English.
New Members
All new members will have restrictions placed on their use of the forum until the administrators are satisfied that their aim is not to spam the group.
New members are not to post advertising of any sort, if you want to advertise on this forum contact an admin for our advertising rates or visit our store link.
New members are restricted when posting and all posts are moderated, you will not see your posts until an admin or Forum Support Member has reviewed the post.This is done to prevent spamming. No links are to be posted by members in the New Member user group.
New members are not permitted to post links at all until they have moved into the Full Member Group.
In General
This forum is for discussing the Philippines. It is expected that forum members will behave like mature adults and conduct themselves in that manner at all times. The atmosphere of the forum is relaxed and informal. If you have any problems, please contact a Forum Support Team Member or an Admin.
