Mr Lee Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 For those of us who do not live full time in the Philippines, just a heads up warning, remember to get rid of your old money before they make it worthless in 2014. Start holding new ones and spending old ones if you visit and leave like my wife and I do. Still plenty of time but time flies when you are having fun. Philippine peso bills bearing the old design will be demonetized by 2014, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said. By 2013, 75% of money in circulation will be of new design.
