I guess time will tell. Those of you living in the PHL, please let us know if anything has changed at the malls? Malacañang called on the management of shopping malls in the country to tighten their security following two separate shooting incidents in two different malls in Quezon City and in Pampanga.Presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda said the management and security agencies of malls must protect the safety of the public.Link

its now 4 Dec. the 1st few weeks , they really was enforcing the procedures. At Mega-mall (about 430-545pm)the lines was at least 20-30 deep and thats with 3 lines, 1 line was for NO Purses NO Bags.just a few days ago(315-430pm) the line was basically no waiting no lines. Here at the local taj mahal (SM sta rosa)about the same story, at 1st really in depth, now just back to the "normal" routine.I felt all along it was just "Show". but who knows what the "mall owners" actually think or care?
