I was working with a guy on Sunday when he pulled out a little case and in it was cigarettes,he just put it in his mouth, the end glowed red and then smoke came out of his mouth. I could not believe it and thought they were some sort of toy smoke but they are what is known as electronic cigarettes which I see now sell in the Philippines. http://www.cebuclassifieds.com/detail.php?id=692466Anyone ever seen these before?

My wife got suckered into ordering those nasty things a couple years ago. They're very expensive andconsidered just a novelty item. They suck big time.......Jake

As are the real things. A friend in Manila has been using them for about a year I think. Allows him to "light up" inside. Getting harder to indulge in the deadly habit, even here.

I was in SM mall just the other day and saw a booth that was selling them so yes they are easy to find here in the Philippines. I also have a buddy back in the US that is making some pretty good money selling the different flavor cartridges that go inside of these things. I guess that people are now finding them less expensive than regular cigarettes in some places of the US. I don't know the prices of cigarettes in different parts of the world but I know they are pretty cheap in the Philippines compared to the US.I quit smoking about 16 years ago so have no intention of even trying them.

Australian Dave who used to lease the Our Place bar smoked one of them. He said it was a non cancerous alternative to real cigarettes.Regards: Jim

I tried Champix about 12 months ago, and they did not work for me. In fact, they had some side affects that I did not like one little bit ! Some of the side affects were, nausea, sleeplessness, and "lightheadedness", especially when I stood up. I did not like them at all !I have tried nasal sprays, cigarette filters, nicotine patches of various brands, and even hypnotism, and that was all just a great waste of money !
