Of course!I would do what I am doing now, but on a larger scale. I am not 'settling' on the Philippines due to poor finances, I am going to the Philippines because I WANT TO. More money just makes it easier.

Define "plenty" ? A million US dollars tax free? Probably not. Millions? Definitely not.

Assuming you mean US dollars; 5000 should just squeeze you through :mocking: but to be sure it might be best to give me 3500 to hold onto for you.One never knows if the money might end up burning a hole in your pocket so by me taking care of it you are assured to make that 5000 last the whole month.Seriousness are we talking about 5000 as a tourist or permanent stay? AS a tourist 5000 could easily be spent if you like going to bars and stay in high end hotels and eat at restaurants.

As they say,5000 and you will live like a king but of course depends on where and your lifestyle. Maybe to answer your question,if you have 5000 a month its a good option to choose the Philippines as you could have a good life style on that money.
