Bundy Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 (edited) I just came across this Philippine breading mix made by Ajinomoto called "Crispy Fry" It comes in three flavours that i have seen; "Original", "Garlic" , and "Spicy". You just pour it in a bag, add your chicken pieces and shake, then fry them..................mmmmmm Lami kaayo! So far i've tried the Garlic and the Spicy, both yummy. It is very cheap too. Perfect with rice and one or two beers. :7_4_17[1]: Edited April 14, 2012 by Bundy

Mike S Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 Bundy .... sounds like the breading is like the ol' "Shake & Bake" sold in the US .... drop in the bird and shake it a bit .... sometime for a different twist on things try and take some chicharone and crush it into small crumbs and dip the chicken in a beaten egg and then roll in the crumbs .... I enjoy it and it has no carbs .....
i am bob Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 I found a great alternative too! My ex from Taiwan showed me this one... Get hold of some Sweet Potato Flour (sometimes called Sweet Potato Starch). Dip your chiicken in egg and then dip in the flour, fry and enjoy! With chicken I might add a little finely ground pepper and sometimes a pinch of garlic powder. On fish, I use it straight up. If you can't find it in the local stores, try an asian style grocery.

Curley Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 I like the packet seasoning but my gf prefers to make her own, tastes the same to me. Sensible girl, she probably avoids horrible chemical additives by making her own.
