Would You Tell Another If They're Being Scammed?

If you were aware of another FM,or foreigner being scammed..?

someone who says she is single yet has live in partner?

or is under age or has lied about her age, says she is 27 yet only 19? has taken money under false pretenses etc

Would you tell him(the foreinger, the FM)?

I would tell them in a heartbeat, Wouldn`t even have to think about it,.... And I hope if I was being conned and someone knew, They would tell me about it..

if it was a friend I would let them know what I know but beleive me I have been in that position of knowing a friends girlfriend was not what he thought she was, a guy led by his thing is not easy to get through to :)

I agree , tell them ... the hurt it causes now is nothing compared to the hurt it could cause later. I'd like to thing people i know would think enough of me to not let me be taken advantage of.

I would definitely tell them... but how I told them would be another story!

Some people you can just blurt out the truth to. Others may turn on you and never believe another thing you ever say so you have to be gentle with them and present it softly - and sometimes just drop a few soft statements to let them figure things out for themselves... It all depends on the person.

Of course I would also make sure that I had my facts straight! Seeing someone's girlfriend hug another man in a restaurant or bar and then hold their hand as they walk out isn't always what it seems like! I once walked into a bar and saw a girl I knew do that... On the way out she introduced me to her brother who she was seeing for the first time in over 10 years... And I enjoyed the Welcome Home party that was held 2 days later!

OK how about this ...... would you tell the girlfriend about your friend if he was just using her to get what he wanted and had no intention of actually turning it into a lasting relationship even though he told her he was and she thought he was going to ........ hummmmmmm .... the shoe is on the other foot now ...... but of course no one would ever think of doing that ..... now would they ...... :hystery: :hystery: :hystery: :hystery:

I would tell anybody if I thought they were being conned, no matter who they were, I have been conned before and it is not a very nice feeling, I hate liars, cheats and thieves.
