They just ran the Green Acres series on Veetle the other night ..... spent hours laughing my a*s off ..... what ever happened to good entertaining shows like these and of course the Andy Griffin show .... they showed his the week he died ..... now days they have Reality TV (yea ... right) and videos people send in with most of the action staged under scary names like "college students gone wild ..... women gone wild .... and dangerous drivers out of control ..... etc.) ...... oh well at least I'm so old I can remember how shows USED TO BE entertaining ...... :hystery: :hystery: :hystery:

ME TV runs Green Acres at night now so I watch it. Great memories and the characters still crack me up! I love some of the classic conversations between the wife and the country characters like Eb and Mr. Haney! :hystery:

Got my wife interested in Gilligans Island.

So very true TV is not the same entertainment it was years ago. Then again, critics of the time hated most of the shows we now call classics.
