POLICE filed complaints on Tuesday before the City Prosecutor's Office (CPO) against an alleged member of a gun-for-hire group operating in Davao City.

Facing charges is one Stephen John Serrano Sebrian, alias Macmac, 20, of Purok 22 in Malagamot, Panacan in Davao City.

Superintendent Dionisio Abude, chief of the Talomo police, said they brought Sebrian on Tuesday before the CPO for inquest proceedings.

Sebrian was charged with frustrated murder for trying to kill Robert Alec Taylor, a British national, in front of Don Manuel Gutierrez Elementary School in Matina on December 7.

Abude said Sebrian and another suspect identified as Raniel Duran, 20, of Matina Pangi, were allegedly hired by the victim's wife, Rosemarie Oros Taylor, 38.

Duran was killed by police operatives during a follow-up operation on the same day Taylor was shot. Duran succumbed to a gunshot wound on his head as the police opened fire at him after he drew his gun and aimed this at responding policemen.

Abude said the operation was conducted after Rosemarie confessed that she was behind the attempt to kill her husband.

The victim's wife said Duran kept calling her asking for the payment amounting to P15,000. Abude then told the wife of the victim to meet the suspect at Bonguyan Beach Resort for an entrapment operation.

A source from Davao City Police Office's Investigation and Detection Management Branch (DCPO-IDMB), speaking on condition of anonymity, said Rosemarie wanted to kill her husband for personal reasons.

When asked if the police will file charges against the wife of the victim, Abude said they will not do it upon the request of her husband.

"The victim won't believe that his wife hired the suspects to kill him. We can't do anything about his decision neither for his security because gusto niya iya wife ang mag-alaga sa iya until maulian siya," Abude said.

Members of the Scene of the Crime Operatives recovered from the possession of the slain suspect one homemade caliber .38 pistol, three .38 ammo shells, and three .38 live ammunition.

Recovered from the possession of Sebrian was the boodle money with undetermined amount, two black helmets and one blue and white Honda Wave 110 motorcycle bearing plate number 1112-350984 that was used as getaway vehicle after shooting the victim.

Sebrian is now detained at Talomo Police Station

Robert Alec Taylor wants his wife, who had hired hitmen to kill him, to care for him in his old age. I wonder if he plans to hire a food taster to make sure that rat poison is not added to his meals.

Maybe Robert Taylor has become a Filipino in his thinking. He can't admit that a family member would kill another family member. The reality is it happens every year.

Now would be a very good time for Mr Taylor to make sure his Wife is written off his estate plans and insurance beneficiary plans. He needs to let her know ..there will be no payday when he is gone and that he should see to it that his wifes' arch rivals "enemies" are all included in to get a piece of the pot should something happen to him.

I hope he's not another fool with a Filipino body guard who is f@king his wife. That brings up a good question, is the wife pregnant?
