Would You Get On The Philippine Tv Game Show Wil Time Bigtime With Your Filipina Girlfriend?

Last night I watched a Filipino TV game show called Wil Time Bigtime on TV 5. The contestants are Filipino's with foreign partners.

There is a long introduction for each couple where they end up professing their love for their partner. Then they sing and/or dance together for the audience. Later they participate in the game show where they have to name that love song from just the melody.

Would any of you with filipina partners try to get on this game show?

I watch the show almost every night, have been for several months but it's starting to get old. Last night's show was good because of the foreigner bit. Willie said to the 55 year old Australian guy with the 19 year old gf, "You look like you're going to her First Communion". Mr Harry Thomas, the US Ambassador to the Philippines, who famously remarked "40% of male tourists to the Philippines come for sex" (later apologized) was in the audience. Big Time Wil Time is ending Jan 5th and coming back as Wow Wow Willie on Jan 26th in a new big studio. Quite a talented and entertaining character. Would I get on? NO.

I could be persuaded, but only because it is such a big deal for my wife. I would hate it as I don't like emoting in public and the show is all about who can laugh, cry and effuse their love on camera.

for his behavior(Not admiting guilt nor accepting responsibility for his actions) for the WOW WOW WEE incident. (in which many was killed)

He wasn't the producer of that show, only the host; unlike his current show where he is the producer. I don't know what responsibility or culpability he had as host, the DOJ investigation specifically and solely excluded him from indictment and blamed the station.

I watched the show, and I have to ask, would any of our Filipino board members go on the show with their Russian brides? :hystery:

Edit: For those that did not see the show, I should have mentioned that one of the foreigner relationships was a Filipino guy and a Russian woman. They said they met in Russia when he was working there.

Probably not......as Dave mentioned, I wouldn't be able to openly express my feelings on live TV.

If I was ask to perform on stage, the only talent I have is between my butt cheeks. I can produce

perfect pitch of F sharp and F flat.....he, he. On the other hand, my wife Judy can sing Carpenters

perfectly.

Regarding a Russian bride.....no, I would keep her to myself for endless indoor honeymoon away
