Disparaging Comments & Flat Out Rudeness In Manila

I hear sh&t all the time most of it is the guys trying to be funny to their friends with little comments .

 

My Bisayan is not great but its a lot better than most expats I understand far more than I can speak

 

The rudest comments I have encountered by far are from western women here at home .

 

There is a 23 year age difference between myself and my love and western women comment about it to me all the time .

 

I have been accused of robbing the cradle, being a closet pedo  ,and not being strong enough to handle a real women

 

I was told by a older woman I was a dirty old pervert and my love was a gold digging prostitute. (this from a family member)

 

I just smiled at her and said isn,t it great when 2 people with so much in common find true love . 

 

I find myself guilty of thinking many of the things said to me as well , When I see a guy in his late 60s marrying a girl who is 20 what could they possibly

 

Have in common ?  Except she wants a better life and he wants a hard body . Do I comment out loud in public about it no my mom taught me better than that.

 

We all judge other people just most times its just in our own minds . 

 

I could rant about this all day but it would just piss off some members here because they may see themselfs in a poor light lol

Don't they have common knowledge?!   :mocking:  That's a rather common age difference when BOTH are from Europe/North America too...

But perhaps your age difference LOOK biger than 23, because most Filipinas are so small?
