Americano Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 I recently received a message about the death of my 29 year old son who was in a traffic accident. Is there any way my wife can go to the USA with me to visit my Family during this family emergence?

Hi Jon, Thanks for the email address. I think I know what their answer will be so I sent an email to the consulate in Cebu so I could share their reply here. Here is a copy of my email: Dear Sir/ Ma'am, I recently received information concerning the death of my 29 year old son in a car accident in Alabama. Is it possible for my Filipina wife to travel the USA with me to visit her other step-son and other family members? She has a Philippines Passport and has visited Hong Kong but doesn't have a Visa to enter the USA. Any assistance you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Phillip Rowe
SubicSteve Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Very very sorry for your loss. You can also try to contact a congressman/Senator back home from your local district to see if they can assist you.

Jake Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 Hello Phillip (Americano), Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family that you gain more strength and patience. You have a long journey ahead of you (Alabama) and the hurry up and wait can really eat you up. Hang in there, my friend. Respectfully -- Jake
