Does Drinking Coke Daily Cause Young Filipinos To Have Acne And Pimples?

My wife didn't have much problems with getting pimples until her brother and cousin came to live with us about 4 months ago. My wife would rarely drink Coke before they arrived but now all three of them drink Coke every day and all three have developed Acne with several pimples on their faces. Does anyone have a similar situation?

 

I have been suspecting that Coke was causing their acne for several weeks but didn't say anything because I'm not sure its causing the acne and I know how much they like Coke.

 

I don't have acne but I'm much older than them plus I mostly drink beer and very little Coke.

 

Everyone's experience and opinions will be greatly appreciated.

I don't know about Coke, but surely what's put in the mounth have big effects at acne. E g:

/some fats in (low grade) sweet chockolates

/several sweet candy (it's much refined sugar in Coke too)

/and something in an unhealthy cerial, which I don't know if you have in USA, but I guess so. It's some type of puffed (wheet ?) covered partly with honey, but I suppouse they have saved production costs by replace much of the honey with refined sugar... It both make acne and make the pee dark yellowbrown by all junk the body want to get out coming from that food!...  :)

Yes drinking coke regularly will cause symptoms like acne, but more importantly it is also very dangerous to your health over all. 

 

The simple fact that you can desolve a rusty nail in a glass of coke over a period of time, demonstrates that any similar type of "soft drink" is not healthy if taken daily and in any kind of large volume.

 

It also upsets the natural balance of "gas" inside our digestive system, and affects things such as hair and nail growth.

 

There are many studies that you can find on the net, to substantiate these findings.

I just thought of something funny. Does your statement above mean lesbians have more acne than other women? I guess its possible.

More info on what, lesbians or acne? hehe  I believe Bruce is a nurse so maybe his expertise is in acne not lesbians, but you never know he seems to get around quite a bit.
