We take the super tenere to Canloan at least once week. The road is made for bikes, fantastic with great views. Last Wednesday bought the garmin and found without doubt some of the best scenery I have ever seen in the Philippines. Following a small concrete road north of the uptown market it just goes on and on. Some tricky rough sections but over all a treasure. I have motor cycled extensively through out the country and this is a gem....Would post a few pictures if new how.... We always buy all our veges there, Super fresh and cost peanuts compared to the city.....fresh lettuces are give aways as are avocados....yum yum. Bacolod is also one of our favourites, have stayed in many different hotels as each visit we choose a new place. So far favourite would be Kundutel Hotel golden fields, but not for the pool. Bobs have 3 restos there, The pastries in gasano opposite Grand regal are delicious.......The main Bobs branch at riverside is food for the gods......Just for some strange reason, the air con is freezing, as in freezing. last two trips we reluctantly did not eat there for this reason. But...Bacolod has no shortage of eateries..... As a side note quite a few different routes to Bacolod via Canlaon great roads but presently some muddy patches due to construction. This place is a little unusual in that it is well maintained - has been open six years and everything still works! Staff are keen and helpful. Good wifi in designated hot spot on first floor.
