Dutch Expat Robbed By Taxi-Had No Plate# On Side

seems that a dutch visitor was robbed when he took a taxi from airport/manila

interesting part, guess all members should be aware of is that the taxi had

NO PLATE number posted on the side doors/panels

 

 

A taxi driver was arrested in Pasay City after robbing his Dutch national passenger on Tuesday evening.

The victim told the police that he boarded Gienadnic taxi with plate number UVM 276 in front of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1.

 

A few minutes later, another passenger boarded the taxi driven by Roberto Ocampo and declared robbery.

After taking his money and belongings, the suspects dropped the victim off at a poorly lit area in Pasay.

The victim immediately reported the incident to the policemen,

resulting in Ocampo's arrest.

Ocampo, however,denied the accusations.

 

The police noted that Ocampo's taxi had NO plate number written on its sides.

 

Ocampo will face robbery charges. Policemen are still conducting follow-up operations to look for Ocampo’s accomplice. --
