Jack Peterson Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Tagalog is shouted at home it seems Now there is an Even Funnier thing, TM does not speak and Understands little Tagalog, Azon will over talk the bisya when we have friends in, TM will just grunt and ask for translations, but yes we all know when "Mama is annoyed" out comes the Tagalog. That's where she becomes Daddies girl. :mocking: JP :tiphat:

Larry45 Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Beautiful child, Papa Carl. I guess this is a sensitive subject as we all live in different realities. Hope it works out for your daughter :)

Popular Post davewe Posted March 27, 2015 Popular Post Posted March 27, 2015 I raised my sons without a mother, We divorced and I got full custody of my sons, They have not had contact with her since then, And they have managed quite well without her in their life, I took my sons out of school when they were aged about 10 and 12 as I thought the school wasn't doing a good enough job with them, I taught them myself all the things I thought they needed to know about life, They both now have their own businesses and make between 1000 and 1500 Pounds a week salary, So Kids can do ok with just one parent in their life, Right on....my mother was youngest of 7 (father died when she was almost 1), and they all achieved great things in life. But that's America 1940's. Different world today. I raised my sons without a mother, We divorced and I got full custody of my sons, They have not had contact with her since then, And they have managed quite well without her in their life, I took my sons out of school when they were aged about 10 and 12 as I thought the school wasn't doing a good enough job with them, I taught them myself all the things I thought they needed to know about life, They both now have their own businesses and make between 1000 and 1500 Pounds a week salary, So Kids can do ok with just one parent in their life, Good luck to you , Brock. Hope you live to be 80! Recently watched my niece and nephew say goodbye to their mother (my sister). They were just 10 and 16. I hope I will never put my kids through that, at that age. I'm sure I have told the story before, so sorry to repeat. I had young parents. My mother was 20 when she had me and by 25 she was done baby making with 3 kids. She died at 40; I was 19, sis was 17 and brother 14. There goes the theory about having kids early so you will have your parents into middle age. On the other side of the coin my father who's been 100 bills overweight his entire adult life is about to turn 86. The cranky old fart hasn't spoken to any of his kids or other family members in years, decades in some cases. Seems to me some of us are too busy studying actuarial tables and trying to figure out how long we will live. It's human folly. After all you're in the Philippines. You're gonna die in a trike accident or ODing on Red Horse anyway :) To quote Leonard Nimoy, "Live long and prosper." That's what you can give your kids. Care for them as best you can and stop worrying about whether you will be there when they hit 50. You won't lol
