The Fight.....

Not trying to upset anyone here but over the last month I've been watching expats as they pick sides for the fight... Not just here but other places I view (work purposes only) and those I meet in person... General results (not always accurate) shows those who have more negative comments regarding the Philippines are backing Mayweather while your who are more pro Philippines in their comments are backing Manny...

:D

Yeah noticeable but that's opinion. I have analysed the fight above and will stand on my judgement.

All I know that if Merriweather wins, and if anyone asks, I am telling them I AM FROM AUSTRALIA! :999:

Who will back you up on that mate, you still have that twangy accent, hard to hide? :attention:

Why do singers from all over the world tend to sing with a Yank accent?

th

Because singers think it is the best way to make money. Give me a break Chris was going to sing for you but Not

that I blame you.

you told me to shut up!!!

Mate, standing on a table top belting out Waltzing Matilda is not encouraged in quiet provincial areas.

Fact is, I'm pretty dam good myself, doing impromtu versions of "My Girl" by the Temptations, And a few counry classics as seen on FB, clips

Chris I take the 50/1 on Manny

I always go for underdogs

John, Manny's a southpaw, a style that is tough to handle for a coventional fighter. And Manny is extremely quick with both hands and with combo's of 3-4 punches. I believe he's fit enough, but I believe he hit his prime earlier v Eric  Morales, Marc Barrera, and Juan Antonio Marquez. He is 2-1-1 with Marquez but Marquez did knock him out.

Since then Manny has a win and a loss v Timmy Bradley, Marquez has beaten Bradley, but Marquez, a superb technical boxer lost 11/12 rounds to Mayweather.

Mayweather is a defensive specialist who could stay well away from Manny, even the whole fight if necessary.

I have a close fight, quite a boring contest, with Mayweather winning on points or a draw. I don't have Manny winning except by ko...50/1 against that.

A rematch is possible, that's what the promoters will aim for.

I'll take some of that 50-1 action also,  but is there any chance both of these guys could get KO'd at the same time, because neither of them are very appealing to me.  Floyd should win a decision, but to insure peace and harmony with my neighbors, I'm hoping  Manny gets the win.

I think it will go the distance with a win for Mayweather ..... just look at the referee they brought back for this fight ..... the same one that took the fight away from Manny before and then said after the fight that he had made a mistake ..... mistake my arse ..... money talks and BS walks .... and he did the job he was paid to do .... no different in this one IF it is close ..... JMHO

John, Larry, Mike, Scott,

That would be by KO, not TKO.

I think you guys see it like me, Mayweather on points, although my oods are generous, i think they offer an accurate probability.

I can't decise which will be worse, the depression that will settle over the Philippines if he loses or the smug satisfaction if he wins.

I refused the wife's PHP20,000 bet on Manny on the basis that even if I won she'd never pay me...............

I'll probably be watching San Antonio Spurs vs LA Clippers or Major League Baseball.

I've been invited to watch the fight at my neighbor's home. He's a Brit and loves Manny.

Probably because I don't care who wins. I do hope that Manny retires win or lose . He's done enough for the Philippines already. He's a legend and will be in Hall of Fame someday.

I totally dislike Mayweather.
