Typical Pagasa report Mogo, but notably you who are outside the  Philippines know more about it than we do.

I think moving north but catching the Isabella and Cagayan Valley areas would be normal. We are only 500 km or less from there with the Cordilleros Mtns in between and we have not heard a darn thing.

Since Super Typhoon Yolanda that smashed Tacloban and many other areas, I have noticed a lot of hyper sensitive weather reporters, both amateur bloggers and mainstream.  These people over-dramatize every weather event that used to be routine in Philippines.  There are dozens of strong tropical storms here every year.  There are also typhoons here, Some areas get one or more every year.  On the other hand, there are areas that do not see too much extreme weather.

The mainstream storm reporters are just reporting what sells and bad weather is a popular news item since Yolanda.  There has not been a storm that bad in a year and a half now.  While wise to be prepared any time a typhoon is possible, it is foolish to think the sky is falling every time the wind picks up.

Such is my opinion on current preseason typhoons and I hope I am not proven wrong.  This spring/summer has been hot and dry so when the typhoon season gets into full swing I may change my tune.

I suppouse same as the others said  :)

(I just comented it was known abroad in Sweden too, before some knew in Phils.

It wasn't I, who saw it, I look at news very seldom. It was told to me by one of my relatives, who  report to me, when they see some dangerous news about Phils, because some of them are worried concerning me moving to Phils   :mocking:
