Saw this on Phil news portion of CNN Philippines last night. Would bet the bank he is a dual citizen. But I suppose it makes for a more sensational story if his called an American

 

Another story has his name, definitely an American.  :)

 

The MIAA identified the passenger as Cipriano de Guzman, who was bound for Taiwan via China Airlines flight CI702.

The first thing that I thought was, how did he get it past the screening when he first boarded the plane.

Next thing, what if he had been a terrorist and used the knife and grenade to skyjack the plane.

TSA in the USA is not very thorough and very negligent in this case.

There has to be other times when TSA has fallen asleep at the wheel.
