Sm Sales People

This has been discussed many times but it is always fun to revisit!

 

This is mostly from my wife's point of view.  We were in SM a few days ago and split up for a bit.  Abby and our 11 year old went to shop for clothes and I went to look at luggage, with the baby.  As usual, I was attacked by 3 or 4 sales people in the luggage section who proceeded to to demonstrate to me every functionality of the luggage line they were responsible for.

 

Later, Abby told me that when she was in the woman's section alone with the 11 year old, nobody approached her.  As soon as the baby and I joined them, swoosh, the swarm came upon us!  4 or 5 sales girls showing Abby clothes and doting over the baby.

 

Sound familiar?

When shopping for a mattress at SM we had about 10 of them. Dragging mattresses out of the back storage, peeling off the plastic and shouting "Try this one sir"

Well in  Pattaya, there are more staff than customers and they just stand there, stare into space or f...k around with their bloody mobiles!

I don't want this taken the wrong way. I am always fawned over for obvious reasons. Since my wife is older, I think the girls assume she has money and is probably ready to buy  weather I am with her or not. I have watched and when she enters a section she is mobbed just like.

oh yes I love SM Malls and the Attention I get and the wife and her younger sister ignored !!

most shops call me sir Must admit I dont like being called sir ! but its the philippines where customer service rules ! :thumbsup:

Oh sorry I forgot about that well known electronics store ! you know CD****G.

we have 2 branches here in Los Banos and one of their Kenko world stores !

what a pity they are not owned by SM !!

The staff in these stores seem to be more into doing their nails and forever doing pricing !!

I went to Carcar a few weeks ago to get groceries we cannot get living this far down from Cebu city.

My wife asked me to buy her some underwear, OK not a problem.So I go to the womens department in SM and look through the pantie section(hey somebody has to do it)

Well over comes one girl who is going very red and I think getting embarrassed but I think it is her job to serve. Well I was choosing and she was holding them up to the light to make sure they were ok.

Her workmates started to come over and were all making suggestions and sniggering some of them were going red. I get what my wife wants and go to the checkout well the girls there inspected them as well and were giggling and talking and giving me a glance.

I am just wondering if they thought they were for me or my wife because obviously they were very small for me so I hope they came to the right  conclusion.
