Well stop and think about it for a second ..... Isis has marched across the middle east and who stopped them .... they beheaded US citizens and who did anything ..... they burned alive Christians and who did anything ..... they attacked France before and who did anything ..... just think of all the innocent people killed and who did anything ..... sure they bombed a few locations after they first warned them of what they were going to do ..... the US gave no arms or supplies to those that were fighting Isis on the ground ..... so it is no wonder that they feel unstoppable and fear no one or nation ..... after all who has done anything .... except maybe threaten ..... I mean the US president won't even call them terrorists ..... what a strange time we live in .....  :unsure:

Yes it's exactly that!

Anyone who believes this situation is going to end soon is kidding themselves.

This is going to be a long and hard struggle, it's about Good verses Evil.

It's about winning the hearts of people caught up in this mess.

The innocent peoples flocking from one Country to the next seeking shelter.

Whether it's from the cruelty of the IS or the bomb dropping of the West and it's"Allies"

It will take a long time for people to heal from all of it.

Peace in our time, I don't think so.

Innocent victims massacred

Fear and paranoia -- mass panic

Forces the govt and homeland security to run around with a thumb up their butts

Individuals rights and privileges of common citizens to be taken away as phone taps and surveillance invade our privacy 

Creates racial profiling and unwarranted revenge against decent immigrants who escaped tyranny in their home country

 

I'm sure there are more repercussions......this evil is the new world order for the human species to try to save itself.  I think it's time that we should have another Noah's Ark on a global scale.  We could be right one thousand times in preventing another terrorist attack but it only takes just one time for these street punks to carry out suicide attack with another pressure cooker.  What's worse -- weaponized biological suitcases?  

 

I totally agree with Scott, who spent some time in Bosnia and other hot places.  Forget about negotiating with these punks.  They're already brainwashed (madrasa schools) and custom fitted with a bomb vest with a promise of blood money to his surviving family and most of all, the ultimate promise of 70 virgin goats waiting for them.  

 

No more beating around the bush -- a dozen tactical nukes (1 kiloton each) should do the trick.  The hell with rules of engagement.

War as we once knew it does not even come into play with the new world order-the fight against ISIS to victory can only be won by a combination of special forces, guerrilla warfare the commitment from the Arab community to root these evil bastreds out, intelligence gathering and execution of that intelligence-each member considered a fugitive with no shelter anywhere. Persistence and patience will be the biggest weapon and the sooner we attack the enemy in this way, the less likely chemical or biological weapons will be possible (still considered a remote possibility). No more nation against nation-these folks are braided into western society.

The countries in the region really need to straighten this out with help from the treat of the world.

I think need to audio work on the root of the problem. This is an ideology and just killing them is not going to do it because now will just pop up. Not that I'm against killing them. I'm all for it.

There are many politicians in the US who would love to send tons of us trips over there. Then what? We occupy the area? I do not think that is an answer.

It is a terrible thing when religious extremists cause terror but we all have to stop over reacting. Look what the US did after 9-11?

Jack, at cat named Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is their spiritual leader, he is the prime motivator behind the movement. A very charismatic man who can spin his version of the Koran to attract the disaffected.

Their tactical leaders are actually officers from Saddam Hussiens old Iraqi Republican Guard. Since they were disbanded in 2003 they have just been knocking around. ISIS pays them well, and gives them something to do. Unlike popular belief, these guys were actually good soldiers compared to their regional competition (Iran, Turkey and the Gulf States). They were held in contempt only because the ran smack into USA/British buzz saw. So ISIS actually has quite competent small and medium size unit leadership. Which is really the type of campaign they are running.

Two words Jack, "Black Market" In todays world, especially that region if you have the money you can buy the munitions. Remember they not only are selling Iraqi oil on the black market, they are selling items looted from museums, confiscating (religious tax is what they are calling it) assets from the cities they control and donations from those with more money then sense. So they are pretty well funded.

In regards to my earlier part I was referring to bombs and drone strikes.

I will also say though that while we have bombed the crap out of them it was our invasion of Iraq that got this entire thing going.
