An Unexpected Complement ( Comment?)

:)  Last night, I went to a Nieces 18th Birthday Party, Not Lavish, Just a Nice Birthday Party, I say I as my Wife was attending her Companies Christmas Bash,

My daughter went  with me but as Usual, was missing in seconds with her friends and Cousins so alone I was.

Bye the time I got to the House and the Food, the Blessings from all seemed to take a long time. This was Noticed I got to know, by many of my Nieces Class Mates and Friends. As I was getting some Nosh, I overheard part of a Conversation by 2 or 3 of those 18 year old's sat quite close by. The Comments went something like this.

* So who is that? why are the Little Kids Blessing him? is he a Foreign Priest?

No Silly, that's the Rich Uncle. Seems a nice Guy for a Foreigner :lol:

Well he looks like a Rich Uncle tonight but he never looks Rich when he is at the Store having his beer, Seen him Loads but he just looked like a Building Worker.  :hystery: *

 

Now it is no Secret, that I don't Dress up at Home I don't put on "Airs and Graces" I am me and have no Problem wearing UKay,UKay during the Day and going for my daily Tipple.

I think we all are aware of Keeping our Heads Down and I think I have just succeed in this.

I guess that most knew my Niece had a Foreign Uncle ( Well 2) but seems I am a nice one. ( the Other is not known to them I found out later ( Apparently) he does not like the Area we live in so won't attend these places when they are here. (below them) and I guess maybe some thought the same of me.

So this Morning when I walked the Dogs I got a lot of 'Hello's' and 'Good Mornings'

AAH! To be recognized as a nice guy and not just the Rich Uncle  :lol:

 

Happy? You bet I am a little happy.
