Coming To Baguio City

Hey guys,

 

Getting back to the OP about Baguio......it was on my list to scope out for my future retirement.  However, from the comments from Earthdome, OMW, Jon1 and few others, it will be just a place to visit during off peak season (if the mountain roads are well maintained).

 

I also like cooler climate conditions like Tagaytay (north of Batangas, Luzon) but that is quickly becoming another Baguio.  Way overpriced, way overcrowded and traffic during summer weekends is absolutely horrendous.  Again,

it will be another place to visit because I would like to fly a Hobie Cat in Taal Lake one of these days.

 

I've been reading about Valencia on the foothills overlooking Dumaguete City, the southern end of Negros, Oriental. Cool mountain breeze along with the fresh ocean scent, looks pretty exciting to me.  Besides that, my future drinking buddies are nearby and they promise me they will respect me in the morning -- yeah, right.
