Popular Post Larry45 Posted January 20, 2016 Popular Post Posted January 20, 2016 (edited) Sure some of you have seen this documentary years ago, but being out of the loop myself, I just stumbled upon it last week. It's about an adopted mixed Vietnamese/American who was raised in the US and returned to Vietnam as an adult to reconcile with her birth mother and siblings. Once you get past the politics of that war (which hopefully we won't discuss here), it's a story about cultural differences and diverging expectations when a family member returns to the home country. Nice to watch with your wife/gf, so they can hopefully understand us a little more. :) Edited January 20, 2016 by Larry45

manofthecoldland Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Traumatized by culture shock. A great film. Language was the minor separator. Values, mind sets, ways of perceiveing and thinking were the greator. Globalists often have no idea what they're messing with.
