Jack Peterson Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016  Some members ( and I am One) at times wish we could vote in our own country many can of course as they maintain an Address but many can't (again I am one of them) Today I was given some Information that, although Speed, world be of the essence, Brits can in fact vote on the Up coming Referendum and Other Elections if you so Wish, here is how to do it for those are Interested. As you will see there are as usual, Conditions  https://www.gov.uk/voting-when-abroad
Jollygoodfellow Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 As you will see there are as usual, Conditions I didn't see much conditions but it looks easy. British citizens moving abroad You can register as an overseas voter for up to 15 years after leaving the UK, as long as: you’re a British citizen you were registered to vote in the UK within the previous 15 years (or, in some cases, if you were too young to have registered when you left the UK) Just register to vote in the normal way.

Hmmmmmmm that's THE condition I was Not liking, I have away from the UK for 20+ Years so that's me out and I think we will all be surprised how many of were not registered for Voting even when we were in the country, I think many of us just gave UP  Not that I was going to Vote I was just emphasizing the fact that we could. For many years we were denied it but now they Need the Votes. Of Course, they may well reverse this when it is all over and they realize that us OAP's can Vote against the moves they try and make. stevewool Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 I will have to leave it up to You Steve, so pro's and Con's Time EH? My shoulders are not that wide to take on so much pressure Jack, The trouble is Most of the voting people here have no idea too, many see migrants as the biggest problem the UK is facing, There has been so many changers over the last few years about the UK, Scotland and Wales, and it does seem that the UK is getting a good kicking from everyone around Myself its time for a change what change i have no idea, maybe moving to the Phils is my change and leave this people to do what they want ,just my own thoughts
