Don't Be So Fxxxing Dumb, She Says

Had to laugh, eventually, and share this story:

 

Y:  "Honey, I'm going to visit my family in March for the Fiesta and I'll be gone 2 days"

Me:  "You know we have plans to go to Manila in March and Boracay in April, where do you think the money is going to come from?"

Y:  "Don't worry about it.  My mom has money and she will pay my way"

Me:  "You know your history with your mom.  Trying to get anything but promises will be impossible"

 

And the 'discussion' goes on for two days until finally:

 

Me:  "You know I was not happy about this trip of yours but I must say that I am happy it makes you happy.  Your happiness is important to me over and above our arguments.  So are you really going to ask your mother to pay your way?

Y:  "Don't be silly, you know I can't let my mother pay my way when I have a "rich foreigner".  They already tell me I should dump you and find someone with more money."

Me:  "Well I guess I expected that and it won't cost me too much because its only 2 days."

Y:  "Don't be so fxxxig dumb!  You really think I am going all the way there, spending 2 nights, and then coming right back?  Use your brain.  It will be a day to get there, a day to get back and 2 to 3 days there.  Duuuuh!"

 

So does this sound familiar to anyone? :cheers:   Or am I the only one with a princess for a spouse?  :89:

This is as far as our conversation would have gone.  At that point I would laugh and tell her to pick her sh&t and go ha ha  ...but she knows better than to let me hear that (even if they do say it)   :tiphat:

I've said that a time or two.  Sometimes laughing and sometimes when I'm mad.  But not so much any more.  Are you one of the fellows who didn't buy a house and put it in her name?  :th_goodidea:

      Yeah, it sounds sort of familiar..... like something out of the movie, "Lost In Translation", with Bill Murray. Ref: He goes to Japan and encounters what seems to be a rational society.

Certainly seems like she does that landlady of yours.Are we that predictable I thought you and the rest of us hid it quite well,obviously not.
